Here's mine from a 2000 3.0
Mine has DSC traction not so the ABS relays are elsewhere.
The k19 relay looks to be the same but with different number but k22 relay is different.

Thanks Brian, I have found a very good spares site that gives photos of the relays, 'K' numbers and even the circuit diagrams of the internals.

I am working my way through the relays now. Have managed to swop over 2 so far so they are correct - K33a and K21. K9, K22 and K48 are all wrong; K2, K4 and K19 were correct. Have not checked ABS relays yet or any relays in the E box by DME or the ones inside the car.

That's a good site to find. Never thought of pulling the relays for the part no's.

Hope you get sorted and then move onto starting.

Still haven't got the relays sorted - I don't know which of my sources of info is correct - the relay actually fitted, the one specified by the illustrated spares site, the one shown on the 1998 Z3 Bentley manual (which doesn't cover my S50B32 engine), the one shown on my 1998 Z3M wiring list (which doesn't cover my S50B32 engine) or the ones shown on the S50B32 wiring list, which covers many models with this engine but is not Z3 specific. In most cases they all show different information. If anyone has a photo of the 1998 Z3M Roadster fusebox, ideally with the manual A/C option that'd really help. I have been doing continuity checks from the relay sockets to their destinations but this still doesn't tell me the exact type of relay that should be fitted.

Relays sorted out now. Took apart and fixed duff AC/Recirculate switches and window switches. Car was wired with rear fog lights that weren't on the wiring diagrams and various wire colours were different. Good news is that new UK modded DME refitted and car started first time, but runs a bit rough. Have a fairly quiet tinkling noise from engine, not rev dependent, like a loose article in the inlet manifold, but nothing found. Trim etc. not fully refitted so hopefully will turn out to be a loose bracket or something. I guess the car will need to be driven for a while so the new DME can 'learn' about fuel quality, driving style. air temps etc.? Will repost with news of what the tinkling noise was.
