Hello,

I just purchased a 1997 Z3 and am in the process of fixing all the little things to bring it back to life. Specifically I need to replace the antenna base and am having problems removing the cable from the old base. It seems to be "corroded in" a bit. Any suggestions?

Hi Tom, firstly welcome to the forum from me near Lincoln. Secondly you would be better served by introducing your yourself in the relevant section as more people will see, and hopefully respond to, your post.
As far as I'm aware the cable connector isn't commonly a problem to undo., someone else hopefully will be able to help.

Tony.

Hi @TomZack, :welcome: to the forum from me too in Staffordshire. The aerial cable just unscrews from the base of the unit, maybe a spray of your favourite release fluid may help. Then brute force;)
