on a side note, I discovered why my backrest heater pad was not working. The pad was "trimmed" and the heater element cut! OOPS! The wire appeared to be copper and soldered just fine. A little shrink tubing, a little 3M 77 spray... vola! good as new!

So I took the leather off... Lots of Hog Rings to be installed in my future! I looked at the back rest and did not find any switches. Nor did I find any broken wires. I am at a loss again!

Is there any chance you still have these pictures as I’m trying to swap a sports seat into my car but using the old base/wiring looms, being able to understand the heating wires could be very useful, cheers

Cheers for those, managed to make the adapter work but need the plug ends to wire in to then plug into the harness coming out of the floor
