One off prototype, its not very BMW like though, designed by an Italian so to be fair if you stuck a Ferrari or Maserati badge on it it would look right.

There is a resemblance indeed.
the audi was designed by Ruprecht Neuner from what i read, but this guy is totally non existent in google search!
Strange. Such a good design…
