You can buy those cheap from somewhere like Maplins. Have you seen the article about fixing the micro switch which explains which one you need?

Yeah I read it the other day Gaz, just wasn't sure if it's the microswitch. Goes up first time every time, going down its temperamental
I also had this problem but temperamental going up or down. It was the brake light switch on mine. HTH
