lol. I calculated it out so that 789.0 K from reaching 123,456 I reset the klm. when it got close, real close, I went for a deserted country ride so I could pull over and take the picture. I knew I had 100m window of opportunity. I think I have a sickness! hahahaNow tell us - how long were you watching the trip so you could reset it to get this?

Engine is as good as ever. Had oil changes once or twice a year throughout its life, all wearing items replaced when necessary (mechanical and cosmetic) and used with mechanical sympathy. Had 20K miles on when purchased (as second owner) in 2005 as a 4 year old (car not me!). Wrote cost of car off years ago so 210K miles has cost me £20K in deprecation (assuming no residual value). A couple of big folders of maintenance invoices though. Not many S54 still used properly, many are now firm "garage queens", which is a real shame.

Now that is impressive! I do less than 5,000 miles each year but fully intend to see mine do that - in about 20 years time!
