No, the suitcase locks on to the rack via the lock on the suitcase.
Very clever system.
The suitcase is as rare as rocking horse figs but the boot racks do come up for sale.
The last time I had seen them for sale was on here (@wildeboy) back in the spring of 2012.
Mine came with the car but to be honest, if it had not, I would not bother.

I missed out on both this spring because the seller couldn't figure out how to ship them. There's a seller on eBay that has the soft sided bag that just straps on. It looks like it would hold plenty of beer but I'd be worried about all the weight on the lid. JIM
