I got my Z3 when I was 53 years old.

Coming up to 7 years of Zeds for me, said good bye to my Z3 in 2019 but really looking forward to getting my re vitalised Z4 out and about. First trip out Motorist Hub this Sunday
 
December 2013 so 6yrs and a month and 2 Zeds, one replacement engine after an unsuccessful rebuild, loads of money spent but also loads of smiles. Three continental trips, 1 in the silver zed and 2 in the black zed, although the the black zed got back home on a trailer after the second trip after the head gasket blew driving through Belgium. We've met some lovely people too along the way.

What does 2020 behold for us?? Well I'm seriously thinking of buying a Z4 Coupe but that wont be until later in the year unless a bargain appears. I'll be keeping the black zed but the silver zed will be moved on. Strange thinking on my part really as it's been ultra reliable, I haven't spent a penny on it since I got it 2yrs ago other than normal running costs, but I couldn't part with the black zed after bringing it back from dead.
 
Only 5 years for me but owned 6 Zeds in that time (still got 3 :facepalm:)

Coming up for 13yrs with only two Zs, Z3 11yrs, Z4 coupe. Loved the Z3 but sadly it had to go to make room for the Z4 coupe E86 which I’d dreamed of owning since they came out in 2006, was worth the wait. Just wish I could have had both. At nearly 72yrs of age I’ve had a few comments especially at filling stations, mostly how good the car looks and does it belong to my son. Usually with a laugh I say no but9 it makes me feel as young as my 47yr old son.

Wish I hadn't joined this forum :( , the cars on here are to die for , well not quite die but y'know .
Had my Z3 since May 2016 , highly unlikely much will change as I'm retired and funds are required elsewhere .
