They wouldn't want to live in Swansea. Horses are still a way of life for many here. There's an estimated 600 kept in urban areas. That's in people's gardens and by the way side around town. Not in surrounding countryside. There's supposed to be more horses in urban Swansea than any other place in the country.
There's also a large travellers' community of horses which swells further with horse fairs. There's one regularly held in the car park of our local.
It's one of my favourite things about Swansea.
I took this photo recently which really tickled me. Yes some people do still move around town by horse.

We have a stables right in the middle of town and the horses are led/ridden past my house every day, its great to see and they also leave enough behind to use on your rose bushes.
If your dog does that and you do not have bags to clean it up, you get a € 90.00 fine.......

Rather deal with horse poo than dog. Got around 70 horses here, the smell if it was dog carp would be unbearable. Nothing against dogs, mind, just what they leave behind.
And from the looks of the video clip, that was incompetence on the part of the handler, not entirely the horses' fault.
Yep, makes me laugh though, they use the bike lane and then you see cyclists go through it and get covered in it, especially if its raining...

It's only recycled grass, when all is said and done. Horse, that is, not that stinky dog carp. And why do people pick it up, put it in a plastic bag and then chuck it into the nearest bush? T**ts.
As we are on the subject of poo, read a post on another Z forum about a chap running over a baby's nappy that had been chucked in the gutter as he drove past a school one morning.
It stuck to his wheel and he sprayed all the mothers stood outside the the school gates with the contents.......
Less funny though, also his car.

Also on the same forum (not about poo) a chap was at a BBQ and when he got back to his Z (roof down) someone had chucked a whole fried chicken in it.
