Any chance you guys in the UK have what we in the US call “muffler shops”? I had an aftermarket free flowing exhaust done on my Z many years ago utilizing a magnaflow muffler and part of my original pipes.

We have one in the next valley. May go and have him build one for me later this year when my rebody is drivable.

Jimbob I had that done about 5/6 years ago price would be irrelevant now, just give them a call or pop in for a price but it was £2/300s but they will ask you what sort of sound you want, but what they did for me in the first instance was far to loud and head office put another one on for me which was ok.

I have oem exhausts yes, I’m based in Woking, surrey
Any CATs suitable for a 1998 1.9 Z3? I also need good manifold to CAT nuts and one of the spring-loaded bolts for CAT to rear exhaust section.

@bombur had an exhaust made and fitted on his M43 last year, local place in South Wales. When he spots this he will probably reply with some details.

Thanks all for your suggestions.

Looks like I might be sorted with a local(ish) breaker. Going to have a look at what he’s got next week. Fingers crossed..,
