its the rotating mass that will make the difference, the 7.5 kg lost at the flywheel should have a similar result as loosing around 100 kg of car mass during acceleration. this gain gets smaller as the speed increases but in 1st 2nd and 3rd it will be noticeable. if its weight loss your after then there is about 7-8kg of ballast behind the rear bumper, not to mention the savings that can be had on the wheels.

Well - I have tried a few apps - and never been that convinced with them. So for £3 I have ordered one of these - so looking how quick my take off with @billz following me I am expecting 0-60 in around 8 Secs - as @billz must have been around 12 secs=))

You got that wrong Q you meant yours was 1.2seconds and mine was 8 =))
