Similar mileage for me and never drink a coffee on the go, far too distracting. When you see the figures of sales folk who get killed on the roads or in bad accidents it puts you off..... Also I get allowance so own my car and don't have a lease one so spilling it would be bad :D

That's the tricky bit I've found, get it wrong and it leaks or removes your paint when it rubs! I really wish the plastic guides were still available to do this. If anyone has a set some dimensions would be useful as a 3D model for printing could be made.

This is from Bentley, looks like to fuse box and rear lights but not good at reading these things. Blue and yellow wire. Looks like pin 2 goes to fuse box, pin 1 goes to pin three in connector X6021 (not sure where that is) via 1mm2 wire and then that connects to X1169which ultimately connects...

If that’s really their price they are about 110 cheaper than the two dealerships in Newcastle less than 15 miles or so away if you are talking to the Boldon one. Cheaper than getting the kit and doing it yourself. Interested to hear if you go for it. Would be a superb bargain

I don’t think that’s going to be one with a transponder chip in it unless you’ve found the best dealer in the world! They do ones that will open but not turn off immobiliser, if you need one I’d bite their hand off for that but make sure you have it in writing it will start the car as well.

You can clone it with an Ak90 from eBay for about 20quid. You have to pull the EWS from under the dash and read the chip. It’s easier than it sounds, you can get the chips from eBay and you pop one I the key case. There are guides on how to do it on the web but not linked specifically to z3...

Well I’ve put the correct part in and removed the resonator and all is good! That was a bit of a strange one! Now to sort my Shock top mount issue and ABS issues.
