I need new rears and have been looking at Uniroyal Rainsport 3 to replace the Continentals, the write ups and tests look good.

Has anyone used these on their Zed?

Michelin Pilot Sport 4 is my other choice had on my 2.8 too, good tyre but not as cheap as the Uniroyals and the reviews are similar.

Well I really like them Tony, they coped very well at Donno for the track day,had loads of grip when pushed and good feed back on the fronts, which have now covered 22k miles, but need replacing shortly.
Done a fair few @Mint cruises which always have a mix of spirited driving and rally stages and I have no complaints about the Hankooks at all.
Dave has the same tyres on his 2.2 and he's also impressed with them.

They're Ventus V12 Niall, mine are on 17" rims, don't know if that makes any difference.
Bought the rear ones recently from a local garage, which were even cheaper than they were online, about £165 for the pair.

I have the uniroyals.
Good in the dry and great in the wet, not that drive hard anyway.
I like them, although I don't have anything to compare them too.
The only thing with them is they are asymmetric so can't be switched over on the rears when the camber wear out one corner.

These are track tyres, very sticky. Federal RS-R I have 255 on the rear and 235 up front.

The conti's were sticky enough for me plus 5mm tread on your  I'm too tight ;) anyway just ordered a pair of Conti Contact 5s same as on there now, reason being when I checked the fronts are still at 5mm rears 2mm dont really want to mix tyres so stick with these, next time the fronts will want changing too so a set of 4 different ones maybe.

Not quite that bad, they are 6.5mm thread instead of the normal 8mm. They're also very soft and sticky, wonder how long they last.

I cant drive this Z4 like my old M, it's so well balanced. I got 18,000 miles out my last set for the z4 and they were Falkens :)
I have an unknown (to me) make on the rears called Sunny, been on 2 years and 10,000 miles and seem to do well in the corners (refusing to wear out!). Bridgestone on the front. Not sure what to go for when they wear out, I'll do all 4 at the same time. Sticky sounds good :)

I run the uniroyals and im impressed they have a better wet rating than dry but dry is excellent.
A have ran varuous brands on the zed and they are not noisy and hold the car well when deiven with spirit.
I Thought they where a reasonable price when i brought them locally and not much more than going a budget route so win win.
