Z3 2.2

That question will start a huge debate but here are my thoughts.

I dont feel multi electrode plugs provide any benefit and you will not find them in performance applications these days so they were not my choice.
My turbo car was fitted with NGK iridium plugs. Very long lasting and common as dirt so exactly what I was after. Four plus years of abuse without any issues or complaints.

Your Owner’s Handbook should show the recommended parts.
The BMW Parts Department have just supplied me with ‘own brand’ NGK BKR6EK plugs for my M44 Z3.

I put Bosch plugs in my M54 (3 litre not 2.2) recently and I have found that they spark when they are supposed to and don't when not!

Spark plugs are like tyres, or fuel, these days; everybody has an opinion on which ones are 'best' but ultimately you just need ones that create a big fat spark reliably. In my opinion.

Always used Bosch in my 2002, 2.2 [M54]

Also, :welcome: to the forum from me too in Stafford, England
