Stock 1998 Z3 2.8 from Honolulu

Hi everyone! Just introducing myself, my name is Josh from Honolulu and here's my 2.8 Z3

The last of season of SCCA in Honolulu was 2024 since we lost our last good open parking lot (all lots now have trees and light posts around). Since then, I've picked this up and decided to keep the car nearly stock apart from the exhaust. I've always been up and down keeping a second car not that there is no (legal) race scene. But, it's a joy to drive. I'm doing the last bit of the front suspension, then deciding if I really want to do the rear diff bushing or taking it to a shop with my arm and leg for sale.

Resto and mods:
- Replacement steering wheel leather from redleathergoods.com, I didn't like the quality but it's overall better than before lol
- Front suspension; sachs struts, lemforder LCA, top mount, end links, by Bavarian Motor Experts, Honolulu
- Rear suspension; none. Debating on bilsteins
- Exhaust; custom exhaust from RAD Motor sport Inc
- Wheels; Style 18, considering changing
- Resprayed black from PO
- All fluids refreshed (diff, transmission, coolant, oil)

I have a lot of photos from previous repairs working with the Bentley, hopefully I'll actually post them. Glad to be on a forum again since the vortex days haha

We definitely do have to show our front plate by law , but for photos we can all agree it looks much better haha

Hi and welcome from me. Visited Oahu in 2009 on honeymoon, had been a dream destination since I was a kid. Stayed in the Marriott hotel Paoakalani ave. 14 nights of pure heaven. Look forward to going back again. only Zed I saw over there was parked outside the Pearl harbour aviation museum. Interesting that battle scars were still left in the control tower.
