Reinstating electric roof kit.

Hi, just about to kick off reinstalling electric roof gear in my Z3. Currently has nothing not even gas strut, just sensor and switch with wiring. Found some help online but wondering if any can advise on the best advice out there. I am slow but fairly capable.

Thanks, I guess members are mostly in US. Love motoring in states but personal health insurance cost rules out return at 74
