Bought a 2000 Z3 for my wife it is 2.8L automatic in Topasblau-metallic biege top. Typical maintenance issues, fixed the seat movement, hydraulic top cylinder, changed fluids, converted the radiator to Evans Waterless Coolant, EMP waterpump, Working on Top and liner replacement. Major gear slop in the OEM Torsen differential, replacing with a Diffsonline 4-clutch unit. THe DSC light is on and code reader shows steering angle sensor. Having more fun than a human being can stand. Also own two other BMW's 2004 325i and 2006 330ci ZHP coupe.

Great job on all the maintenance

How does the handling of the z differ to the e46 325i in your opinion?

It would be good to add your location and car details to your profile as that means you don’t need to re-type it every post.

Good to hear you are enjoying it

The 325i of course feels bigger and corners and brakes well with Bilstein B6 dampers and stainless steel brake lines with drilled brake rotors. The Z3 feels smaller and feels quicker. Body roll is about the same.
