I had a 2004 3.0i Z4 for about a year and it was an awesome car. The only real criticism, and the reason I went back to a Z3, is that they aren't quite as fun to drive. You should find it will drive more like your A2 than the Z3 because the chassis is much better. The run flat tyres spoil the ride quite a lot, but you can switch those to standard tyres later on if you want a silky smooth ride.
I personally would go for either the 3.0i if I get another, plenty of power and speed if that's your thing!
We have some which visit work and I occasionally get to drive them. I love the 3.0 too Gaz, even in Auto guise, plenty of power.

Hi Freya, I have just made you some brake pipes and if I can find a padded envelope at home tonight I'm hoping Shirl will nip to the PO for me tomorrow, if so you should have them early next week. Once your friend has got them fitted ok let me know and then we can square up.
