Just signed up, so wanted to say hi to all. I have a 2.8 1998 hellrot red zed. He's done 100,000 but still going strong! Starting to need a few bits done like door sills and needs a bit of TLC, but he is 14! Respect these cars a lot.I was a very unconfident driver, would shake when i got behind the wheel. But the zed helped me so much and now the sky's the limit, or at least till we get to a junction!

Hi Ruby and welcome to the forum from Tasmania Australia!

She is.... oops, HE is a nice looking stud you have there and it is good to see you love driving him as much as we all love driving ours. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask as there is a wealth of information and goodwill here! :)

thanks a lot x. I will have lots of questions i'm sure. There are a few fiddly jobs to do! I'd best take some better pictures of him too.
i know zeds are usually ladies but max just seemed to fit? Does everyone name their car or am I just mental?!!
;).

Welcome @Firefoxxruby1

You will find almost everyone on here has a name for theirs. Mine is Rosie, which is slightly odd because she is blue. The original number plate was RO 51 --- so I was calling her that even on the way to the first viewing.

Some more pictures would be nice, and as already said shout if you have any specific questions.

Gary

Welcome @Firefoxxruby1 !
Me too I like to think to my Zed as a trustful friend and not as a lady...therefore I use during winter a lavender magic tree inside...:)
and I don't have any jealousy problems with my lady!;)

Welcome from me too.
I have never named a car but my big black Mercedes coupe was given the nickname 'the battle cruiser' by my friends.

Welcome to the forum ;)
Haven't got a name for our car except for the Z if you can call it that :)
Our other car is called Flo ( because of the number plate )
I was thinking of naming the Z but nothing comes to mind :)

Hi Ruby and welcome to the forum. We're almost neighbours, I'm only the other side of Gainsborough(Lincoln side that is)

Tony.

Hi and welcome from snowy mid northern Canada. If naming your car and mentality are used as gauges then you've just walked into the asylum! JIM

:welcome: from Bonzo and Z3lda, who is definitely of the fairer sex, (is that word allowed mods?)
She is a 2.8 like yours, a super choice. Just a little tip, until you get used to 'him' keep the ASC switched on especially in the wet.

:drinks: Cheers,

Bonzo.

Hello,

You made it onto the forum then. Welcome and have fun.. Love the Z3 you have.

Look forward to meeting you sometime next year at one of the many get togethers.

Hi tony,
Ill look out for when in gainsboro. go through to blyton quite a lot for a pecan chocolate ha!
Hi Ruby, I will keep my eyes peeled too. I don't go to the G town that often as Ive worked in Lincoln since 1997. Let me know when you're heading over and we might be able to cross paths.:)
