Brown Packing tape is the de rigueur fix for the cracked rear screen prior to fitting a new one, pic of this fix please :D

Thanks Bruce - very nice pic - I will investigate the link - seeing everyone else's cars just makes me want to get everything done NOW!!

Also as the tape also leaks get a plastic tub below the hole and it will catch the drips and not soak into the rear carpet. Don't forget to empty it before you drive off or you will get a wet ear.

+1 on the coventry roof guy i spoke to him about rear window replacement and her really knew his stuff.
