I set this site up as a temporary forum when the other site went down for over three weeks, a couple of years ago. When the other site came back online, people asked me to keep this site live, so I did. It's grown rapidly from there on.

It's also not that uncommon for there to be multiple forums on the same topic in the same country.

I also prefer to think of the site as being international rather than just UK, as we a growing number of overseas members too
