Actually @t-tony . People are telling me to change my gearbox oil. Possibly also my diff oil although I am not quite so sure about that tbh. I think a pumpy thing (technical term) is required. Is there time to squeeze that in - I can order from Opie Oils ?

I'm sure we could do that Alex. I don't think your mileage would warrant Diff. oil change but sounds as though changing the gear oil would help.

Tony.

ps. We have a device for refilling gearbox and Diff. oils. ;)

Would it be OK if I popped around to meet some of you guys? I don't think I have anything specific that needs doing, but I am sure I could learn a thing or two about the Z...

Had a reasonably busy day at the Shed yesterday an E85 for O&F, G/box and Diff. oils changed. Also a new clock spring on the column. A 330d Est. same treatment plus front discs and pads, but this was an auto box so needed to pump a few inches of water out of the pit. Still got our Gary's projects here so the Shed was left in a bit of a tip yesterday,

By 5.00 today ship shape and Bristol fashion.

So I could at least put my car inside, complete with new number plates.

They look so much nicer without a front one though.

I finished a little job today taking advantage of the very mild daytime temperature.
A coat of clear coat on the inside of the 19" wheel which I had to have repaired at MOT time last year. I painted it a few weeks ago.
These wheels are, IIRC, style 296 . . .

Evening Tony, I'll pop over as Zed needs a service. Oil and filters, so shouldn't take too long, but always time for a bacon sandwich!
