Still waiting for tickets to come, seems ridiculous that you pay and then have to wait so long for the tickets.
Is it the same for everybody or is it just me?

In my opinion these are absurd terms especially in these times.
What else would you pay for so far in advance, leaving such a short period of time should, god forbid, anything go wrong.
Why do we allow these people to dictate such terms, I am in business and certainly could not get away with it.
We really shouldn't let them get away with it, why can't they despatch tickets as orders come in, what are they doing with all our money in the meantime.
There is too much of this paying way in advance for things and waiting for goods, we even do it with utilities now, the world has gone crazy, too much is dictated to so many by so few, ( was it Winston Churchill said that?) :)) or was it something else.
I think I am turning in to a grumpy old man, I am about that age I think.
Mugs we are! :-s

The printing and postage will probably be managed by an outside company who will do one mail run when all orders are placed. It wont be the office girl stuffing them in envelopes and putting stamps on.

I took out the special delivery option so will get in. Wayne you can watch through the fence :)

Don't worry swamps, as we have about 34 cars coming in convoy from the Hotel it would be a brave marshall who decides to mess with us! They should arrange to give us our own special entrance gate to give us priority access :D

I am afraid guys that I just delayed the delivery somewhat as well by asking for the ticket deadline to be delayed yet again as we had at least one member who did not get the 2 for 1 deal and in field pass so was going to not come. I managed to get the discount code allowed up till close of play on Sunday this week. please read my thread on the matter.

Also what happened to all these two Zed owners who said they would bring the second one if they did not have to buy extra tickets. you can bring your second Zed for free as long and you use one of your existing "person" tickets.

Come on you know you should!

I understand the reason for not sending out the tickets early is down to the risk of forged tickets being made and sold.

This is the status on the ticket site

And I just delayed the Event organisers closing the book on our tickets till after this coming Sunday. As I said My fault guys. but I know we have got at least one from us and maybe two more as well and today the lady I was talking to said they had had three others today as well. We need them all.

Regards

Duncan

PS I will stop interfering soon.....promise :ympray:
