looks like prices of zeds are falling but prices of Ms are rising...

Having a look at prices online car prices seem to be all over the place compared to two years ago when it was a job to get a 2.8 Z3 under 5K!!

    crazy times..

I noticed that prices had come down and I suppose the bigger engines are considered gas guzzlers and with the price of fuel are less desirable.

From my own personal point of view, as I don't intend selling Zippy, it doesn't really bother me but does offer me the real opportunity of buying a 2nd one at some point so I always have a source for parts.

The ///m's have always commanded a higher price - but is that not linked to their numbers ?

Our 2.8 is the cheapest car to run we own... at 30 mpg and 95 RON fuel it's practically a bargain. We picked ours up with 80k on the clock for £2k which I think is a steal. Prices seem a bit stiffer than that at the moment though but that could be the summer effect.

I do think that Z3s are a little out of vogue and therefore cheap but on the cusp of becoming collectible so I can see the values of good ones starting to pick up in a few years.
