Announcement ZCars Event Charity Raffle - Overnight Hotel Stay Prize

Hi all,

Our community admin has been pulling out all the stops to hunt down prizes and goodies to benefit the forum. Huge thanks go to @Simon Blythe who has arranged an overnight hotel stay (bed and breakfast only) at the Resorts World Birmingham (https://www.gentinghotel.co.uk/) to give away.

We are going to keep this as simple as possible.

• 100 tickets max @ £2.00 each - maximum 5 tickets.
• You can buy whichever numbers you want from a sheet Stacey will be carrying at the ZCars event on Sunday
• Unsold numbers will be offered on the general forum after the ZCars event
• Closing date will be ideally once all the numbers are sold, or Saturday 11th March.
• I will arrange for someone completely unrelated to the forum to choose a number between one and a hundred as the winner. No idea who yet though, but I won't be doing the choosing!

All ticket sales will be donated to Cancer Research UK

We are hoping that further prize scavenging will be happening and we should then be able to do more charity raffles over the year. We'll also be aiming to select a different charity each time.

A little bit of T's & C's from the Hotel! I only copied the obvious ones, and more are listed on the voucher but I didn't have time to copy all of them...

• Prize needs to be booked and enjoyed within 12 months - expiry 5th March 2018
• Bedrooms are subject to availability - we will endeavour to get you booked into the dates of your choice.
• Ensure you keep the voucher safe as you will need to hand it to reception on arrival at the Genting Hotel.
• No cash alternative will be given for any prizes and prizes are not redeemable for cash or exchange.

Yup, that sort of thing Paul. Just needs to be a simple impartial & transparent draw as far as I'm concerned.

Why dont you do something with the national lottery draw numbers (like adding together the total or something) then thats about as unbiased result that everyone knows can't be a fix

Looking at the official sheet, I've hit a snag as I think it's Neil C who won, who I think the forum name is @Neilc! I need confirmation from you Neil that this is you, and then we should be all good . If it's not you, then if anyone else recognises their scrawl name it would be great if you could identify yourself... Could only happen on here
