An amazing looking Zagato inspired Z3 rebody is coming up for auction in a couple of weeks time. I've seen the modern Z4 Zagato concept from 2012 but this is a retro style similar to the 1960's sports cars of that period. Its an online auction through CCA on the 12th December.

Where is a 2lt Zed for sale in Tenby on EBay at the moment it's at £1000 , in the right up he says it was bought to do this convertion but has to many things on at the moment that's why he's selling the car , he has attached a link to the above car as he says this is what you could do and it's being sold by his mate

I'm the guys mate, its my car that is going to the auction ! Just blowing my own trumpet to get the car noticed ! It was a great project to build and the results speak for themselves. I've owned the Z3 for several years and the outer panels were in need of some TLC but I decided to do a complete rebody. I've always loved the older sports cars from the 60's but to own an old car has its problems. I wanted a modern car with classic styling and I've given it a bit of a restomod look. The company that did the GRP body for me is now offering complete kits for the home builder, mine was the first out of the moulds, they have sold 3 to date. Obviously not for the Z3 purist but it has given the car a new lease of life and should be around for another 20 - 30 years !

Looks like a great conversion, I am just starting my Kobra build in a few weeks.

Also is that an amp in the boot I see? :)
