Spotted this beauty in the car park at the RAC this morning, opposite a red Z3

Z8, now I need to go and have a cold shower. 
Sorry but I don't really get what all the fuss is about with the Z8.
OK, they are rare. They are rare for a reason; nobody would pay the ridiculous asking price when new.
Other than being rare, I don't see the attraction TBH.
I do get the attraction of the Z1, though. They were extremely funky for their time (or any time). Yet the Z1 is worth a tenth of the cost of a Z8. It must be me; no taste!
