Thursday 7th November decided to take a trip up to Tow Law to get my motor relocated, but thought we could stay over and take a look around. Dave did my motor while we had breakfast at The Pantry in Tow Law and then we drove down to Durham. Very interesting place with the Cathedral and Castle. Stayed overnight at Thomas Wright House, Byer's Green. Excellent value and good food. After breakfast on Friday drove across to Barnard Castle then up to Tan Hill Inn, highest pub in England. Marvellous views despite the weather.
