Hi all Z4 owners ......Am I correct in thinking the only way into the lights to change the bulbs is by removing the units? and if so how the heck do you do that? @t-tony ?

You can do them through the wheel arch Niall. Even with the car standing on its wheels but not easy.
You remove the upper of the two removable panels. Big flat blade screwdriver needed. PITA.

Tony.

ps. If they're HID ones bloody expensive too.

If HID then pull the fuse to make sure they fully discharge before removing.
You will find some clips that hold the Hid Ignition Element as well as the spring for the cover

Just stick with the Z3. :)
That would be nice but need to be practical Mike, the Z4 is just the better option for long trips. Plus I'll get used to it (once I've pepped her up a bit with decent suspension and brakes etc) Oh yeh and get the engine fixed ;)

Sorry guys, but the fact remains, the Z4 is better looking, more practical, and has 340bhp in 35iS guise!
