Just had to change the Offside Headlight Bulb. £69.99 ouch and what a pain in the A--E. You have 2 covers, 3 springs and the Headlight Fuse then you can remove the bulb. It is all accessed through the wheel arch. Putting it all back together is an absolute pain. Warning do not try this if you are an impatient person. What ever happened to just pulling off the rubber clip and then replacing

Those days are long gone Bill. Most headlight builds are a pig to fit these days due to the shapes of modern bodywork.:(

One thing that strikes me as very bizarre regarding travelling in Europe is that (correct me if this isn't still the case) you have to carry a spare set of light bulbs for your car. On a Renault Modus, a French car thrown together in France, to change a headlight bulb(s) you have to totally remove the front bumper !! I kid you not. How would you do this on the road side? When we do one of these at work we change the whole set of front light bulbs, head, side and indicator. Have seen these expensive bulbs before on a Mini. It was cheaper to buy an after market headlight complete and fit that.

At that price get every moment you can out of the old one but get an extra so you're ready! Then it will light forever if you're prepared!! Why is that?? JIM

I've always been under the impression that you were/are obliged to carry spare bulbs, warning triangle etc. These days doesn't it include a breathalyser kit too?
