Has anybody replaced their head unit on the Z4 E89? I've tried a search but couldn't find anything.

Mike, thanks for the phone call it was nice to hear from you. I have an expensive head unit (radio thingy) with sat nav etc that I took out of the E85 when I sold it and wondered whether I could utilise it in the E89.

That's a much better looking job than on the E85/6 which always looks odd to the shape of the radio fitted. Have to use a blanking plate to cover the gaps left after fitting a single din unit.

That's always the problem when manufacturers make a head unit as part of the dash /facia, you can fit anything in there it's just what you're left with never really looks right.:( But I like a challenge.;)

Tony.
