Z4 E85 boot spoiler

After doing some research and being greatly helped by Ian @Redline today it appears the an E85 Z4 boot spoiler is "simply" bonded onto the boot lid with adhesive. Having watched a couple of videos on you tube tonight I think I'll try to do this. If anyone on here has done something like this and can offer any help/advice I'd welcome it. Many thanks,

Is this the OEM aero version. If so I think they look great, and as far as I know just bonded on.

That's the one Gaz. There are a few after market ones out there which is likely what I will get. Some maybe better than others but largely it's down to the prepping before paint so I can do that. Ian very kindly checked on his car today and sent me some pictures.. I 've looked on ebay and a tube of adhesive isn't very expensive and all brands are within a few pence of each other.

The back end was one of the areas of the Z4 I really liked. A small spoiler would only make it better.

Mine is OEM as far as I know. Not sure how I could tell to be honest. I'll dig out a pic when I can.

This is the OEM version. But there are other versions available.

As I've said there are quite a few after market copies of this style of spoiler. Most are around £100 inc p&p. They need prepping and painting too. Add on a tube of adhesive and paint and you'll be near to £150 I reckon.

It was the spoiler that swung me decision for this car. I bet HT won't like the M badge that I have yet to replace though.
