I think the stud patterns on all BMW wheels is the same Ken, it will be down to brake clearance I would think.

Just had a look and E39 offset is 20 whereas the 104 is 47 so I doubt it.Somebody asked me about the 104s I'm selling.

Anybody know if 104 style wheels fit an E39?
From memory the E39 has a completely difference offset to the E36/E46/Z3/Z4 which tend to be mostly interchangeable. Best to use one of the BMW wheel catalog sites to compare the offsets to something that would go on an E39.

Also the centre bore is a different diameter, forgot about that and just checked. Bolt PCD pattern is the same 5x120 though.

E39 Center Bore: 74.1 mm
Z4 center bore: 72.5

Hello Z Victor1,

The hub centre bore of the E39 is 1.5mm bigger than all other BMW’s, so E39 wheels may fit other BMW’s, but only E39 wheels will fit an E39 unless they have been machined To suit the increased bore size
As also mentioned the offset would be all wrong.confirming previous comments
