The brake warning light came up on the Z4 about 5 days ago. Headed up to my mates to help him out changing them, and honestly can't believe how low the pads got before the light came on... Looks to be about 1mm left :-o
Compare that to the MINI which the warning light came on several months ago (visual check said they were fine). Changed these today as well, and I think they are just about 50% worn /
BMW seems to be dangerously late with their warning, whereas MINI just seem to be taking the p**s.
