Z4 boot lights ?

Well if they had one. Soon after buying my Z4 the nights were drawing in I realised the boot light was next to useless so I fitted a couple of white led strips across the top of the boot "roof" and it was an excellent modification.
The original hopeless factory fit, right in the corner of the boot.

The led strips have very good adhesive backing and show no signs of moving after 2 years.

I have set of these spare at the moment if anyone would like them for £20 I buy these at Walmart in Florida and can get red,white or blue ones. These were $29.95 but at present rate would be about £22 so a small saving.
Also I fitted some red LED strips across the inside of the boot lid as a safety item when you're looking in your boot after dark, these are wired into the boot lights and so they come on when you open the boot. An added bonus is that they show you if you boot isn't closed properly as they shine out under the bottom edge of the boot lid.

Same price £20.

Do a Merc mod Tony, the car lights are delayed action, when you park up they stay on so you can get stuff out of your boot and see your front door etc......

Would be no good with the original boot light on a Z4 though mate it's absolutely bloody useless. Light delay could be in the menu even, I'll have a look!

Not with a Merc, you can see them fading out as you walk away.

Get paranoid enough about the delayed switch-off for the interior light in mine, sure sometimes it stays on longer than others.

Well no actually, on the Z3 I put them down both outer edges. Can't find a picture though. Found one !!

Could do but the amount I use my Z at night these days, I don't think it is worth it.
