Hi all,
I want to upgrade my cold air induction on my 2003 Z4 3.0i. After lots of eBay and Zroadster searching I'm full of different ideas.

So I'd appreciate your specific recommendations for the following:
1. The BEST cold air induction for that car
2. A good one that costs £100 or under

Note: I'm not a fan of the foam look cones like Ramair do - I much prefer the fin style, and would like to get a red one (colourist, I know!).

To determine the correct type of induction system you need to look at:

1. What other engine mods will the cold air induction system be working with?
2. What is it that you are trying to achieve by modding the induction system?

@5harp3y - Have you tried one your kits on the Z4 for fitment? With it being pretty much the same engine it should fit, just wonder about the actual dimensions.

Z4 needs 90mm connection I think. I'm sure it's bigger than a 2.8 one.

if i get some pictures of the engine bays and MAF diameter we can give it a go

wont be less than £100 though

Just had a look and i think i can make one work based on the M52 kit i have.

Only thing that will take some fettling is the brace but that looks easy too.

90mm Silicone Joiner
90mm Stainless Bend
3 x Jubilee Clamps
1 x massive K&N filter

just need a guinea pig

You don't need a bend for the E85. It works better straight. You want pictures?
