Could be a long wait to get these items. I bought a new clock about 4 years ago as the original one kept losing time. Cost £200ish from bmwminispares.
As far as I known nobody is able to repair the clocks, as I have the original in the garage.

Just the clock.

You can actually buy VDO gauges from several places. They just do not have the same style as the bmw ones. Same size and do work.

I did a lot of research when my clock started losing time, several companies (one specialising in marine applications) sold VDO gauges both in UK and the States but none the same pattern as the OEM. So bit the bullet and bought new.
