The post talks about the owner having a few cars and that this one has slipped down the pecking order. Assume that a 1K makeover would not have been an issue!

I suspect it could be nearer £2k than £1k. It included full seat retrim in leather and wheel refurb. Those 2 aspects might be £1k alone.

If you click on each photo you can enlarge them so see the panels in more detail. Just about every panel has rust around the edges. The sills are also rusted. The only way to deal with rust like that is to remove the panels to get to the rusted areas on the flange otherwise it will just come back. It looks as if they have just rubbed the rusted areas down and painted those areas. The bonnet on the other hand was removed to have the paint fixed. The last picture of the door and wing show they are are different in colour. But the interior looks nice. Expect to see this car for sale soon.
