Anyone fitted the Style 40's on a 2.8 Widebody - can it be done and is any modification required?
Will they fit.com suggests there is no issue clearing the suspension but just worried that the fact the outer rim will stick out just over 60mm more than the standard Style 35's will cause issue with rubbing on the arch :bashhead:
Surely someone's had a go?

There's a guy on here, can't recall his name who has a set of 4 x Z3M front wheels on his car. Apparently the rears wont fit on non Z3M axles but you can get away with fitting 4 x Z3M front wheels

It's the look of the rears I like but not at the cost of having to modify the car to fit them

If you had a narrow body they would fit provided you had the wide bodied replacement panels so unfortunately in your case it would be an expensive///M trailing arms and half shafts I’m not sure if the output hubs of your diff would size up/ be compatible though.
Saying that acs schnitzer type 2 have a nice dish or ocz but not cheap either but look nice.

In short yes they fit the wide body Z3's, the problem you have is due to the offset on the rear they stick out a good 25mm which would be an MOT fail.

To get round this you can change the rear hub to a Z4 2.5 hub which will bring the wheel under the arch again.
