Can you remove the mirrors without folding them?
With the normal mirrors if you can disassemble them first so you can take them off without folding them.
I don't want to try force them to fold without knowing the condition of them internally.

Good news and bad news.

Bad news is your all sacked!!!!

Good news is the mirrors are off and they look great inside. No signs or corrosion.
Even so that I managed to turn them whilst off the car.

I think you have to lift and turn the mirrors to access the fixing screws/bolts? Haven't moved mine in 12 years as fortunately the plinths are fine. If it isn't broke and all that. Am I wrong?:)
