Willing to sell out of eBay but no offers under the start price please.

BMW Z3///M Big Brake Kit

A Porsche 4 Pot Big brake front caliper Brake Kit to fit either a BMW Z3///M Roadster or Coupe.

These calipers have been professionally machined to allow fitment under the stock 17" wheel, the machining work was carried out by pro-calipers (Addiction Motorsport). The pistons/seals were also checked and given a clean bill of health at this time.

The kit comprises of the following items: -
2 x Porsche (Brembo) Front Brake Caliper (996 351 425 & 996 351 426)
1 x Set Ferodo Brake Pads (FRP3051H), Brand new cost £100.00ex VAT
1 x Set HEL Stainless Steel Brake Hoses, Brand new cost £42.00ex VAT

You will need the following to complete the set.

1 x Set Porsche Caliper Adaptors (ebay item number 151071925792)
1 x Set Brake Discs 325mm x 28mm

The lacquer is missing on the caliper faces where the Porsche logo was.

Any questions please ask.

Two reasons really.

1st reason is that the kingpins on non ///M cars are different to ///Ms, I would need 12mm spacers to allow the calipers to clear the wheels.

2nd reason is that the non ///M cars have smaller brake master cylinders, the brake bias would move to the rear too much, did not fancy changing this over. Too much of an unknown.

I read all I could about these before I bought them but there is little information about fitting bigger brakes to a 3.0 Z3, I thought I would be ok so took a punt. Just did not work out.

there is only so much info you can gather.
sometimes you have to bite the bullet and jump from the cliff.

you win some, you loose some.

now you could fit other master cyl.
I've had Tilton calculate mine to fit on the cobra (without surcharge)
