Received just now, thanks Ian.

I'm hoping you (or anyone else) can tell me... Is the 'number of twists' meant to be the same on all the kebabs?

My seat runners need realigning due to one of the motor spindles coming loose, and the switch being moved, thus moving only one runner.

TIA,
David

Good you got them ok and thanks for letting me know.

With regard to the runners if there is a difference between the two kebab positions I don't think there will be much in it so I would first try with them lined up level and then whip them back out if the seat doesn't run freely.

Hi,
I think mine might have the "rocking chair" option fitted as the wife seems to jiggle more in the Z than in any other of our cars!
So, seriously is this a job for the weekend mechanic?
Or should I look for a "local" guru to complete this task.
Thanks,
Andy. Glasgow.

Yeh not really difficult if you follow the guides and have the correct tools to hand, even the most non mechanical person brave enough to take it on will manage to do it in around 1 to 1.5 hours per seat with several cuppas in between.

Replaced seat bushes yesterday, sliding seats are no more, did exactly what they say on the tin.

The old seat bushes were none existent, and not fit for purpose.

THanks Aceman!.

Connor.

Hi All,

Just had a customer fit these bushes to his Z3 who has written a blog of the experience which is good reading and gives anyone who is contemplating doing this job some more information. I will add the link to the first post so hopefully anyone new reading this will pick it up but here it is anyway.

Another satisfied customer.

My Goodness,
If only I had read this before starting to do mine I could have saved so much time, money & effort!
Outstandingly well written guide to fitting your superbly made seat bushes, worthy of a pride of place post in my opinion!

Glasgow.
