Hi I would like to add a Wind Deflector (even if the sun isn't shinning) so what do you recommend. I don't have hoops fitted so I guess it needs to go between the seats? 1.9, 1998. Thanks Terry

You need a non roll bar type wind deflector if you are not in too much hurry im about to purchase a set of roll bars just after xmas so mine will be for sale as i will need the roll bar type. Well worth it makes a massive difference especially at motorway speeds

There are different types of "non roll hoop" deflectors and some have different width mountings.

Spot on, there is the type 1 that I had that is turret mounted and for some reason, two types of type 2 with the mounting pins being in different positions.

I think the 2 different types of type 2 are pre and post face-lift to do with the bigger speakers i think

I think you a right as its only a few cm difference between the two and catches people out.
I sold my type one to a member on here and his car is only a year younger than mine but he had to modify the ID of his turrets to get it to fit but luckily the ID was larger rather than smaller.
