I currently have a nice set of 17" wheels on my z3. I have added spacers to bring the rear out closer to the fenders edges. Still not saticefied. will the z3m wider wheel for the rear just bolt right on my car without any mods? looking for that dished out look that the star style wheel creates.

The z3m wheesl have a different offset and will stick out beyond the arch. The m has shorter drive shafts so the wheels are further in the arch. The 1.9 also has shorter driveshafts but has narrower wings so they to stick out.

I read somewhere on here that 4 x M front wheels will fit

@Sean d it'll probably have to wait for next year though. Not sure if I'm keen on the colour of the wheels either, might have to get them redone again in silver.

Powder coated in what the company calls black sparkle i think.

The finish is not the issue, and there is a layer of dust on the wheels so that probably isnt the best picture but i just dont know whether that colour would go with the car!

do you happen to know how much of an offset you can have on the rear of the z3{not m} .I think the wheels on my ride are all the same at either 42 or 35. I put 15mm spacers on the back since my profile pick and it looks better .But ultimately I would like that dished out look like the m. maybe a 22 or 31 offset. just would like to know the max offset possible.

@Faheem is putting a set on his 1.9 but is doing the wide body conversion as well
I think my wheels are Apex pc7 and They show several different offsets when you look them up but only in an 18" and 19". mine are 17's and were on the care when I bought it. Can I go with 18's on the rear with a dish offset like a 22. I guess I dont understand the offset rules.

From memory my rears are 9 x 18” and 35 offset with 255 tyres sit nice and no rub anywhere.

I have 17” x 8.5 wheels ET 43 - 20 mm spacers rear - no spacers on fronts. Wheels sit nice with fender - no rubbing.
