Hello, I recently bought a BMW Z3 1997 with a 1.9 engine , I was wonder if anyone knows if I need to pay the ULEZ charge in London, and if yes, is there anything I could do to avoid it, thank you

Put your reg number in the TfL ULEZ check site. If it says you need to pay, it only applies if you’re actually driving in the zone. The only way to avoid it is by not driving in the ULEZ zone. If you do, the system will pick it up and you will be fined if you haven’t paid.

Very much doubt yours is ULEZ compliant my 1998 1.9 is not, check the website using your reg number to confirm
