Z3 Style 42 single Alloy

Afternoon,

Having had a rear vibration for a while, I got my wheels balanced, that highlighted a slightly distorted alloy.
Does anyone know if they are still possible to get single alloys, or have had previous luck recovering damaged BMW alloys?
Thanks

Andy

Get a whole set for £80 off forum member. Look in for sale section - a few sets in there

Thanks for the link! Was hoping to try and keep the style 42, so was interested if there happened to be any single alloys to make the set again!

Couple of breakers on here - imagine @ spurs fan in a coupe may have one lying about.

Style 42 are really hard to come by as a single whether it is the 16" one piece or the 17" staggered split rim .

You will find anyone who has a set will be unwilling to split them to sell you a single.
Your best chance is to find someone like yourself who has a damaged rim and has bought a new set of alloy and still has the remaining undamaged ones in their possession.
Stephen.

A good wheel refurbishment company may be able to straighten.

The 16 inch I have, but as mentioned about the 17 inch split rim is a rare and expensive wheel (which I don’t have right now)

So 3x garages have unfortunately declared it unfixable!
Thanks for your help - will be putting them as a 3+1 broken shortly

Unless this is you selling your good ones, it may be your lucky day!

Thank you for that link! Had not seen it!
Learning a lot about wheels this week… they seem to be RS740 where as mine are RS724

RS724 v RS740

the difference seems to be width/offset but the width by only 8 to 8.5 (unsure units but assume inch?) - I am assuming that they are not comparable?

thanks again for all assistance!
