Cut a long story short after an age I managed to get the traction control light off by recalibrating the steering wheel angle sensor
Got it in for its MOT and passed no problem
Driven about 20miles since then all ok
Went to take it to the body shop to get it sprayed first 5 miles fine then engine light went on. No big issue I thought I'll check it later before I drive it back. Suddenly the steering wheel started to vibrate badly. I honestly thought I would lose a wheel so stopped and checked all the wheel nuts. All ok.
Carried on for 5 minutes steering fine then started to do it again. Carried on and then the traction control light came on. As soon as it came on the steering shake stopped, engine light went out and the car drove fine.
Not checked any codes as car is in body shop and I am assuming the engine light and traction light are not connected in anyway but got me stumped !?!
Anyone had this issue?
