Hi folks. I'm 6' 3" and find my left knee hits the steering wheel when using the clutch pedal. I considered lowering the seat by removing the electric framework under the seat and fitting low level rails. Then I came across a company called "spacershop.com" in USA which sells a spacer that fits on the column under the steering wheel, meaning the wheel comes out about 2". Anybody had any experience of this device??? As a side note, I fit okay in the driving position, it's just that my knee to ankle is a couple of inches too long and there's not much I can do about that.

Looks well made but im short, under 6 ft and getting shorter so? 😂😂😂

On my mazda mx5 mk1 I fitted an adaption which allowed the steering wheel to be removed with a key. This bought the steering wheel closer by a couple of inches. As an anti theft device it was brilliant but it meant it wasn't so easy to use the indicators and wipers. In the end stopped using it as it didn't feel as natural and intuitive to use.

Just an update. I bought and fitted the spacer. It fit perfectly giving me the space my knee needed.
