Hello Each,
I have a new set of S.S. sill plates, engraved Z3 Roadster up for grabs. Cost me 54€. If anyone's interested get back to me with an offer. I live in S.W. France; any locals can collect, but postage will be an add-on.
 
Yes - I'll have them! how about 50 Euros? I live in Daglan, S of Sarlat in the Dordogne, so may be able to collect in person.

Done deal. Why not wait for a sunny day and collect in person; then we can exchange all that we have learned about these lovelies. Give me notice and I'll message my whereabouts; Google reckons your a couple of hours away from me here. I have noted your email address. But best remove it as suggested.

@Davros Might I enquire where you sourced your sill plates from? I'm after a set but BMW quoted £200+ each!
 
I bought the Tuneon ones via ebay back in late 2023. Paid 55 euros including 13 shipping.

I haven't gotten round to fitting them yet. Will one day.

The engraving - on mine at least - is very faint/not very prominent. But still smarter than the old corroded originals I guess.

The idea, I think, is that you just stick these on top of the old ones. They have an adhesive strip. But I plan on removing the old ones and cleaning up the plastic before sticking then on.
 
Yes, the sills were supplied by TuneON, Germany. Mine were priced at 32.77€, but vat and delivery bought the cost up to 54.47€ And yes, they are self adhesive; I pealed off the originals, having first marked the position, cleaned the surface and fitted the new ones without problem.
