You can make one for a 3 series fit quite easily and they’re much cheaper, and by the way one for a 4 cyl. does not fit a 6cyl.

Thanks for that. Just been offered one for a 4 cylinder and was fairly certain they didn't fit. When you say 3 series, which one do you mean, E30, E36 probably or E46.
If its the E36 then again I am assuming it must be from a 6 cylinder. Do you know if age comes into it?
